The AE431 Park/Shunt Valve is used on trailers with spring brakes. It is attached to the supply line (red) which requires the trailer spring brakes to be manually activated and applied. The emergency feature of the AE431 valve guarantees that the trailer is used in the case of pressure loss in the supply line (red) caused by uncoupling or breakdown of the supply line while riding.
